Training Description

Certified Special Needs Divorce Coach Mary Ann Hughes will share insights on ways to support children on the autism spectrum and their parents when the family is going through divorce transitions.

Training Objectives

  • Participants will learn ways to support autistic children when their parents are going through divorce, as well as information and resources to share with parents to make the process less stressful and overwhelming.

About the Presenter

Mary Ann Hughes

Mary Ann Hughes, proud mother of sons on the autism spectrum, founded Special Family Transitions to help parents navigate the overwhelm and complexities of divorce involving a child with a complex needs. As a Certified Special Needs Divorce Coach, Pre-Mediation Divorce Coach, Mediator, Parenting Coordinator, and Coparenting Specialist, Mary Ann’s mission is to help parents consider and advocate for the unique needs of their children, while reducing the time, stress and expense involved in divorce and coparenting challenges. Mary Ann is proud to also be a speaker, author, and trainer, to support and educate parents and professionals.
