Training Description

The Technical Assistance and Training Systems an Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) funded state project presentation provides a comprehensive overview of TATS’ mission, the key priorities that drive its work, and the ways in which its efforts align with supported indicators. Participants will gain insight into how TATS’ support corresponds with measurable indicators, highlighting the project’s effectiveness and emphasizing its commitment to create a meaningful impact and positive change. Additionally, the presentation will examine the project’s priorities, focusing on strategies that enhance outcomes for those supported by TATS.

Melissa Frey is the North Central Regional Facilitator for Technical Assistance and Training Systems (TATS). She holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in Exceptional Student Education. With 10 years of experience teaching early childhood, her passion for developmentally appropriate practice drives her commitment to support districts and early childhood partners with evidence-based strategies that promote growth, curiosity, and a strong educational foundation for young learners.
