About the Presenter

Sandi Bailey
FDLRS Gulfcoast Parent and Family Services Specialist

Sandi Bailey has been teaching students with disabilities for 35 years and is currently the FDLRS Gulfcoast Parent and Family Services Specialist. Sandi received her teaching degree from Slippery Rock University and her areas of focus include individuals with learning, emotional and behavioral disabilities as well as early childhood. While Sandi misses working with learners directly, she is finding assisting families as they journey through the education system with their child to be very rewarding. She enjoys helping families understand the evaluation process as well as offer support as their learner continues to grow during their school career including post-secondary options.
