Description

We are offering a four-day Employment Boot Camp for transition-age adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related disabilities (RD). The schedule of activities for the Boot Camp is designed to facilitate the development of professional and personal goals toward employment. The activities will include preparing for employment, completing applications and putting together resumes, learning and practicing interview skills, and learning about workplace social skills and accommodations. By the end of the week, participants will determine the next steps for achieving their employment goals. This program is free of charge to UF CARD constituents 18 & older.

Eligible participants must:

  • ​be 18 or older
  • be a UF CARD constituent
  • be interested in getting a job or volunteering
  • be able to attend all 4 days of the camp
