Have you ever wondered what to do if you or a loved one with autism were to encounter a first responder in the community? Join us as we learn from Deputy Cary Gallop, as he shares ways to safely and effectively interact with police officers, fire fighters, and other emergency responders.
About the Presenter
Cary Gallop is a 34 plus year veteran of the Office of Sheriff serving both Marion County and currently now the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office. He has served in many positions over the years and is dual certified as a law enforcement and corrections officer. He has obtained many certifications in the high liability training topics but is most active with certifications in Crime Prevention Practitioner, RAD-Systems, ALICE and radKIDS. In his spare time, he serves on the Advisory Committee of the Ronald McDonald House of North Central Florida, Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Micanopy Area Cooperative School, and Board of Directors for the Gator Attack Club boosters for Gator Volleyball.
