PEPSA Partnership Program 2020-2021

What is it?

The Partnership Program is an initiative to support educators and schools’ professional development and training, designed to enhance the educational program for students with ASD. As a result of the program, the Statewide Centers for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) have joined together with hundreds of Florida educators, providing training and technical assistance to develop and implement evidence-based and effective practices within educational programs for students with ASD. *Attendance of the annual CARD Conference is a required part of the Partnership Program.

How to apply?

  1. Review the Program Information
  2. Fill out the application form (links below).
  3. Answer the narrative questions on the application. 
  4. Have your application signed by your principal or administrator.
  5. Submit the application to your Regional CARD Site.

The 2020-2021 Application Deadline is December 31, 2020!

First-Year Applicants

  • Applicants must be teachers or school staff in the state of Florida who provide instruction to a student or students with ASD within a general or special education program.
  • There must be a commitment by the teacher or school staff to the enhancement of practices or school components that are provided to students with ASD.

Second-Year Leadership Applicants

  • In order to participate in the second year leadership track, applicants are required to have successfully completed one year of the Partnership Program as a first-year participant and must receive a nomination from their assigned CARD staff.
  • Applicants must be teachers or school staff in the state of Florida who provide instruction to a student or students with ASD within a general or special education program.
  • There must be a commitment by the teacher or school staff to the enhancement of practices or school components that are provided to students with ASD.
