Are you a parent of children who suffer from Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs)? If so, please help us to identify contributing genetic factors for certain behaviors related to ASDs. This study is funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH).
We will ask you to answer questions related to your child's autism spectrum disorders over mail survey. Your child will be asked to spit into a special container for genetic study. After you answered all questions about your child, we will send you a brief summary of questionnaire results. We are hoping approximately 600 families would participate in this study. Please contact us by phone of email so that we can give you more details of this study.

Are you a parent of the child who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? Are both biological parents available to participate in the study? If so, please help us to identify contributing genetic factors for ASD. During the study, the child will receive a comprehensive evaluation for the developmental, adaptive and cognitive function and behavioral characteristics. The evaluation will consist of three sessions that will be three to four hours each. We will collect blood samples from each member of the family (biological mother, biological father, and the child) for genetic study. Feedback will be provided to the family summarizing the results of evaluation at the end of study participation.

We are looking for children, ages 2-16, diagnosed with Autism or developmental delay to participate in a study of motor and cognitive development. This study may help researchers understand how the brain develops differently in people with autism and related developmental disorders. Problem solving skills and motor abilities will be assessed. Parents will be interviewed. Children will receive a small gift for participating.
