Camp RISE (Recipes for Independent and Successful Employment)

UF-CARD is offering a one-week full-day program for adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The Camp RISE schedule of activities is designed to facilitate employment related skills and to help prepare adults with ASD for the job search process. Topics for discussion include: dressing for success, exploring careers and adult education, identifying community resources, nutrition and wellness, and interviewing skills.

This program is free of charge to participants thanks to generous donations from Lucky’s Market Gainesville and Impact Autism at UF.

Eligible participants must:
• be 18 or older
• have exited high school
• be a UF – CARD constituent
• be interested in getting a job or a volunteer opportunity
• be able to attend all 5 days of the camp
