In collaboration with local law enforcement agencies, the University of Florida Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (UF CARD), is offering an event for adolescents and adults with ASD, and their families and caregivers. During the event, participants will have an opportunity to meet and talk with local law enforcement officers, to learn about appropriate ways to interact with law enforcement through a classroom-style presentation and practice activities, and to ask questions about law enforcement. Participants may attend some or the entire 2.5-hour event.
Resources will be shared and refreshments will be available.

Learning Objectives:
• Participants will understand the purpose of laws and law enforcement.
• Participants will learn ways to effectively interact with law enforcement.

Target Audience:
Individuals with ASD who are 16+ and their caregivers/family members.
