Gainesville Buddies Social Club: A social-inclusion group for young adults with disabilities!
Mr. Bertrand, an experienced and skilled special education teacher & transition specialist is currently hosting an exciting social opportunity for young adults with disabilities to safely socialize after-hours with peers.

On every 1st & 3rd Tuesday (6-9pm) of each month Gainesville Buddies will host one of the following community-based activities:
•Bowling at Splitz
•Rock Climbing at the G’ville Rock Gym
•Movies at the Royal Park Stadium 16 Theater
•Go-Carts, Skating, Miniature Golf, Batting Cages, Arcade at FunWorks Skate Station
Why attend: OPPORTUNITIES to have a blast through FUN RECREATION, safely MAKE FRIENDS, increase SOCIAL INCLUSION, improve personal PHYSICAL FITNESS, practice SOCIALLY APPROPRIATE COMMUNICATION, learn how to DISPLAY APPROPRIATE PUBLIC MANNERS, gain increased INDEPENDENCE WHEN ORDERING FOOD, socialize with SAME-AGED PEERS

This program will run for the entire 2014-15 school year, ending on May 19, 2015

Cost: $50 monthly/ plus each activity will have it’s own entry fee between $10-$15
1 to 5 ratio (staff to member)
